It seems like a lifetime since I last shared a wardrobe inspiration post. The holidays are definitely a busy time of year and I have to prioritize my time, which means that I have to let certain things go for a while. But Wendhy’s Wardrobe Inspirations are back. I hope you’ve missed them!

Lately I have been very into the color green. It is one of those colors that makes me smile. =) Is that even possible? I love how brilliantly it can pop out of any photo, how it compliments almost any subject. I think its naturalness is what is so attractive about green. For this time of year, I tend to find the more subtle jade-green tones to be my favorite. It seems like the perfect shade to say farewell to the traditional holiday greens, and welcome with open arms the calming pastels of Spring time. I’m especially loving the combination of green and camel, which I’ve paired together. I think the pairings give the wearer a sort of old world, vintage feel. And you know how much I LOVE vintage!! They just make me feel so happy! Hopefully you feel that good energy as well, and this post has inspired your own wardrobe for our next session. Let us spring forward into this wonderful new year!

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU. I started my photography journey 3 years ago. I wasn’t quite sure what I was doing at first or where it would lead. I realized that I LOVE interacting with people and creating beautiful pieces to enhance the photos. These past three years I’ve grown as an artist and as a person. I’ve been able to open doors of creativity that I never thought possible. I think we are all creative in our way, you just have to follow your dreams…

I had to wait until I was 18 to get my driver’s license and this little one is already cruising! I wish this car was mine. Another thing to add to my “prop wish list.”

This beautiful pendant necklace is just that…a necklace.  But to this little girl it will mean a great deal as she grows.  Every time she plays dress up and looks at that beautiful photo of her grandparents she will feel loved.  When times get tough she will tighten that pendant with her hand and she will feel loved.  As she prepares for her wedding day she will look at that pendant with tears in her eyes and hope that her marriage will be just as beautiful as her grandmother’s…..

Meet nephew #2.  Just as little & adorable as his little brother at this stage.  He definitely looks like his big brother.   You might not have been as sleepy as your brother was when we did his newborn session.  But you definitely gave us some great poses!

You & your brother are my two favorite “little” guys in this world. If I go too many days without visiting them I get a little sad.  Big brother always gives me a big hug and kiss when I walk through the door and little brother loves to fall asleep on my chest.  It is funny how other people’s kids can bring such joy to my life.  Thanks for having such beautiful & sweet boys.  I LOVE them with all my heart =)

I can’t help it.  I always tend to give more attention to the little ones.  Could it be that they keep me on toes as they bounce from here to there?  Or those beautiful eyes full of hope?
