For our Friday Favorite I had to share this silly image of my sister in law.  She is always finding a way to entertain us, so during our family photos a few months back she insisted on getting some photos taken with Mr. Monkey. lol This is Christy: silly, goofy, beautiful, kind, and loving! Love you girl =) I thought it fit nicely with the theme of  the giveaway.

Ever since I was a little girl I became obsessed with them.  There is just something about monkeys that always make me smile. “MushTushy was created by accident. I had a rough time a few years ago when I lost my daughter in the 5th month of pregnancy. My mother suggested I get a hobby, and knowing I like arts & crafts, bought a book about things to make from socks. I didn’t see a good example of a sock monkey in the book, but it put the idea in my head. I headed to Walmart and bought my first pair of blue and gray socks. I was terrified to cut and sew a perfectly good sock if it wasn’t going to turn out great, but slowly made the first cut. Surprisingly I was a natural, posted my first monkey on my personal Facebook page, and within a week had over 20 orders from friends! 3 years later here I am making sock monkeys for every age, occasion, and theme! I love the creative process and problem solving when people order custom monkeys.More than anything, I love the joy these little stuffed animals bring to everyone who receives them! They aren’t the typical red heeled monkeys from the past, these have character, color, and personality! I’m blessed that I get to stay home with my daughter (who we were blessed with a year and a few days after the anniversary of losing our first daughter). I am obsessed with baby nurseries.   They are just soo stinkin cute!!! I LOVE all the different themes and styles that I’ve seen: clean & classy, fun & vibrant, vintage, jungle themed, princes themed, etc.  So I’ve decided that we should have our first ever “Cutest Baby Nursery Contest.” So here is how the contest works:

1. To enter the contest you need to email me a photo (1-3) of your nursery to me@wendhyjeffers.com.  Have the subject line read: Cutest Baby Nursery Contest. (no kids in the photo please, just the room)
2. Last day to email me your entry is February 26, 2012
3. I will post the nursery photos on my FB Fanpage on February 27th and have the contest begin. (details on how to vote will be posted later)  Contest ends March 14th.  Winner will be announced March 15th.

Iam back!  It feels like forever ago since I last wrote on my blog.  One holiday after another! I had a wonderful time with loved ones.  I hope you did too! =)

I want to THANK everyone for coming out to our Annual Halloween Picture Treat Event.  I had such a great time seeing the kiddos in their costumes.  And a big thanks to everyone that participated in the contest.  I was shocked to see the amount of votes that came in!  (Especially on Friday.  I guess I am not the only one who procrastinates!)
