Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that we can become great friends! This blog is my second home, a place to share the bits and pieces of my life. I hope it will bring a smile to your face and a little bit of inspiration. I've always known I had a creative side but I wasn't sure how to express it. Two years ago I fell in love with photography and I was finally able to unleash my creative & artistic side. I just love capturing those beautiful faces! Each face & smile tells such a unique story. Plus, I love meeting new friends. Do I have my dream job? YES!

A Grandmother’s gift… | Las Vegas Unique Studio Baby Portraits

This beautiful pendant necklace is just that…a necklace. But to this little girl it will mean a great deal as she grows. Every time she plays dress up and looks at that beautiful photo of her grandparents she will feel loved. When times get tough she will tighten that pendant with her hand and she will feel loved. As she prepares for her wedding day she will look at that pendant with tears in her eyes and hope that her marriage will be just as beautiful as her grandmother’s…..

Mommy’s little princess… | Baby Photographer Las Vegas

Oh how sweet babies are! I just love all of their little expressions, it really makes me wonder what they are pondering about. If we could read their minds what would we find? Would their little minds be filled with baby bottles? Or maybe images of mommy & daddy laughing? Or stuffed animals that always smile? They absorb so much information at this age that I really do wonder what must be going through their minds during their 3 month baby photo shoot.

All I know is that this little one is fit to be a princess. She is a classy baby who loves to have fun!

Happy Mothers Day!!!

What a beautiful holiday to remind us of how AMAZING mothers are. I can’t even express how much I LOVE my mom! She has been so supportive of me throughout my life and is so incredible. My mom is truly amazing, I wouldn’t even know how to describe how amazing she is And I am also blessed with another mom (my mother in law), who is so loving and welcoming! I must say that I am pretty lucky because I adore my mother in law. She is the greatest!

McKenna = 3 month baby! | Baby Photographer Las Vegas

Where do I begin? I feel so lucky that Mckenna’s mom found me. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. And she loves her little princess soo much! They’ve signed up for my baby plan so you will be seeing lots of Miss McKenna this year. McKenna sure is unique. She was the first 3 month old to take a nap during her photoshoot. Well you know what they say about modeling: it is hard work! So you can’t blame her for getting some beauty rest. I was actually surprised that I was able to pose her similar to a newborn baby. I just heart this first photo, it is such a peaceful photo. And don’t you just LOVE the rosette in her hair? I made it! This was my first successful rosette that I made. They are a lot of work, but so worth it! I can’t wait to make more.

So what do you think of the mini makeover I gave my blog?

I have really been pondering about who I am as an individual and as an artist. In the past I’ve gotten caught up on being who my parents wanted me to be or who I thought I should be. Sometimes we want to be a certain way because we think we will be happier or maybe even fit in with others. But the thing that makes us unique is who we truly are inside. There are no two people in this world who are the same. Some of us might have the same hobbies or sugar cravings, but at the end of the day I am ME and you are YOU. Different personalities coming together is what makes life interesting. Two complete opposites in a room create drama! lol

I am still in the process of figuring out who I am as an artist. I am still trying to make sense of what I want to accomplish in this life. Giving my blog a mini makeover made it feel like I was finally home. I hope that you will continue to follow me in this journey that I call LIFE.

And so many new goals for Wendhy Jeffers Photography will unfold in the next few weeks….

Sigh…. | My World

Busy Busy Lady is what everyone calls me. No matter how hard I try I am always working on a new project. What can I say, I am addicted to photography, I am addicted to making new props, I am addicted to spending time with children. Luckily for me these are all good addictions! I finally found some time to sit down and work on some photos that I took of my niece Estrella. She just turned 3 months old and loves her Auntie Wendhy. She has a smile to die for and I am not just saying that because she is my niece. (maybe I am so just humor me) Estrella’s hair was so wild that I didn’t even try to fix it, I thought it was adorable. She is wearing the hair, the hair is not wearing her. (a little America’s Next Top Model humor)

She looks like an angel in her baptism dress…

She thought my joke was funny. I would tell it to you but it was in baby jibberish…

I am debating between blowing up the one below or the very first photo in this post. Decisions, decisions…..now I know how my clients feel! But I usually help them choose, who will help me choose?

This is one of my new “fall” blankets. My mom gave it to me a few weeks ago and I was excited to finally use it. She is going to love how these turned out.

In case you haven’t noticed, babies make a lot of different faces. This last one is my favorite expression. She definitely reminds me of my sister who can be a little Diva at times. I think she might be saying “What?” or “Oh no, this is my last wardrobe change”

Where have I been… | Portrait Photographer Las Vegas

All over the place! Lets just say that busy season is here. I’ve been photographing beautiful people left and right, which means I’ve been editing left and right, which means I’ve been in front of this computer way too much. (I should probably get my eyes checked soon) But its all worth it I love the new relationships I’ve been able to form. My brother in law got married last week so I’ll have some photos to share soon. They looked soooooo in love………….awwww.

Make sure to tune in tomorrow because I will be blogging a very cute high school senior and an adorable little newborn. And lots more blog posts coming up this week.
