Can you see the difference yet? A pinch of color here, or a tad of grass there, it is true! Spring is here! The nice cool weather has gotten my allergies going bonkers. lol But that is okay, it is a price I am willing to pay for gorgeous weather.
The day was perfect when we shot this little girl’s O-N-E year session. I couldn’t believe how much she has grown this past year. I’ll have to do a blog post with pics from the entire year so you can see how this little one has blossomed =)

This little angel is now ONE. She has gone from being a tiny little baby that depended on mom & dad for everything to an independent little girl. She decides where she wants to walk, what toy she wants to play with, even what she wants to watch. (well, lets just say she tries!) I could not believe my eyes how big she has gotten in such a short amount of time. Thanks again for letting me capture this beautiful first year!

Grandad was first blessed in this smooth, silky adorable outfit when he was a little baby. Many years later Grandad started his own family and had an adorable little boy, Todd. The blessing outfit made it all the way from Ohio to Germany so that Baby Todd could be the first one to start the tradition of being blessed in Gradad’s outfit. Todd then did what every little boy is suppose to do…he grew up and had two little boys of his own; Myles and Dayne. Once again, the blessing outfit traveled from Germany to Utah this time. Not too much after, Wendy, Todd’s little sister, had the chance to have her dreams come true. She married her prince charming and began an adventure of a lifetime. She first had Wes. Who continued with the tradition of being blessed in Grandad’s blessing outfit. The outfit traveled one last time, from Utah to Nevada. Two years later, Wes was blessed with a baby brother, Connor. He wore his baby blessing outfit proudly and behaved like an angel during his blessing. I was blessed to have gotten the opportunity to hold and play with both Wes and Connor on their blessing day. Thank you Grandad and Grandma for starting this wonderful tradition that will continue to pass from one generation to the next…

I had to wait until I was 18 to get my driver’s license and this little one is already cruising! I wish this car was mine. Another thing to add to my “prop wish list.”

This beautiful pendant necklace is just that…a necklace. But to this little girl it will mean a great deal as she grows. Every time she plays dress up and looks at that beautiful photo of her grandparents she will feel loved. When times get tough she will tighten that pendant with her hand and she will feel loved. As she prepares for her wedding day she will look at that pendant with tears in her eyes and hope that her marriage will be just as beautiful as her grandmother’s…..
