Welcome to my World!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that we can become great friends! This blog is my second home, a place to share the bits and pieces of my life. I hope it will bring a smile to your face and a little bit of inspiration. I've always known I had a creative side but I wasn't sure how to express it. Two years ago I fell in love with photography and I was finally able to unleash my creative & artistic side. I just love capturing those beautiful faces! Each face & smile tells such a unique story. Plus, I love meeting new friends. Do I have my dream job? YES!

I look forward to being friends and capturing your unique story. Due to the special attention I give to each and every one of my clients I take a limited number of portrait sessions each month. Please be prepared to book in advance and make sure to ask about our free Design Portrait Consultations.

In case you are wondering who I am: a girl that loves to have a camera in her hand, loves going to the beach, loves TWILIGHT (Edward fan), loves spending time with family & friends, loves a good laugh , loves chocolate chip cookies, LOVES her husband, and is a sucker for the following shows: Grey's Anatomy, Survivor, the Office, Desperate Housewives, the Amazing Race, & Parenthood. (just to name a few)

Someone had a birthday! | Las Vegas Baby Photographer

Birthdays….the best day of the year if you are a child!! I remember having a pinata at my birthday parties and I could not wait to have a go at it. I remember family getting together for an outdoor bbq and kids running around & laughing. I am hispanic which means that no matter how old your kid turns, you throw them a big party. So birthdays for me were a big social gathering every month! And I loved it. It was a great excuse to get together with my cousins and play. I can’t remember whose birthday it was, I must have been 6 or 7, but after someone’s party was “over” all of the kids got together as the sun was setting and played hide & go seek. One of the bedroom closets had a mini compartment way on top that I was able to squeeze in to. They never found me! hehe What do birthday parties mean to you?

I can’t wait to have children of my own someday. I doubt their birthday parties will be a huge social event but they will be filled with loved ones and fun activities for the kiddos. After all, we are celebrating their birthday! lol

Now & Then… | Baby’s First Year Portrait Photographer

How is it possible that these little newborns grow up so fast those first 12 months. Makes me wonder what parents feed their kids. lol I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this sweetheart since he was a newborn. We just did his one year session and boy is he a catch! I have a feeling he is going to play basketball when he gets older…

One year olds are soo expresive. And their moods can be altered in the blink of an eye. They can be charming, sweet, excited, sad, or just too cool for you, all within minutes! Not sure what I am talking about? Check out this little man’s photos. He has a different expression in each photo…

A child’s kiss… | Las Vegas Baby Photographer

I can only imagine how wonderful a mother feels when her child blows her a kiss for the first time, and the time after that, and the time after that. I get soo excited during one year sessions due to all the cute things that the children do. It just blows my mind how quickly they grow that first year. I‘ve had the pleasure of photographing this cute girl ever since she was a newborn. Just when you think they can’t get any cuter, they do!! She is so full of energy and made the session a lot of fun. Not to mention the workout I got chasing her around! Here are a few favorites…

Spring is here… | One Year Baby Portraits Las Vegas

Can you see the difference yet? A pinch of color here, or a tad of grass there, it is true! Spring is here! The nice cool weather has gotten my allergies going bonkers. lol But that is okay, it is a price I am willing to pay for gorgeous weather.

The day was perfect when we shot this little girl’s O-N-E year session. I couldn’t believe how much she has grown this past year. I’ll have to do a blog post with pics from the entire year so you can see how this little one has blossomed =)

Someone is now a big girl… | ONE Year Baby Photographer

This little angel is now ONE. She has gone from being a tiny little baby that depended on mom & dad for everything to an independent little girl. She decides where she wants to walk, what toy she wants to play with, even what she wants to watch. (well, lets just say she tries!) I could not believe my eyes how big she has gotten in such a short amount of time. Thanks again for letting me capture this beautiful first year!

This little princess has cuteness written all over her! You wouldn’t know that we shot this session at night. She was so full of energy. (it was hard keeping up with her). She has one of those big smiles that light up an entire room.
